WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Jan. 5 – Jan. 9 in and surrounding Warwick involved charges for a missed hearing and leaving the scene of a crash resulting in injury and/or death.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Rte. 95 stop, missed hearing arrest On Jan. 5, at 7:30 p.m., troopers arrested Ava Menard, 24, of 35 John St., Westerly, Rhode Island for a Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review on the charge of Possession with Intent to Deliver originating out of the Westerly Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of North Warwick. Menard was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where she was processed, then transported to the ACI – Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake Center.

Leaving scene of crash On Jan. 7, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Barbara Fuller, 46, of 116 Reservoir Road, Coventry, Rhode Island, on the following 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance originating from the Providence Police Department; 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance originating from the Providence Police Department; and 3.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Violation Hearing on an original charge of Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Injury/Death originating from the Warwick Police Department.

Fuller was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and later turned over to Providence Superior Court officials.
