RI Trooper Log: Erratic Driver Charged with DUI, Stops Nab Scofflaws

The RI State Police aided the FBI in the search of a home on Aspinet Drive this afternoon connected to a terror investigation.

Traffic stop nabs court scofflaw At 12:44 a.m. Aug. 30, troopers arrested Luana Roque, 24, of 292 Durfee St., Fall River, MA for a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich. Rogue was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Callaghan, and released.

Erratic driver report yields DUI arrest At 4 p.m. Aug. 31, troopers arrested John Luongo, 45, of 117 Salina St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor / Drugs 1st Offense, 1st phase result .221% BAC and 2nd phase result .215% BAC.

The arrest was the result of an erratic operator report on Rte. 4 North. The vehicle was later located and stopped on Rte. 95, in the City of Warwick. Luono was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.

Shoplifting charge Court scofflaw caught during traffic stop At 11:46 a.m. Sept. 1, troopers arrested Irma Jimenez, 25, of 115 Hanover St. Providence, RI, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting originating from the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in the City of Providence. Jimenez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and later transported to Third District Court for Arraignment.
