WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests in Rhode Island Jan. 22 through Jan. 27 involved charges for DUI, eluding a traffic stop, driving without owner’s consent, larceny, and hit & run.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:

Obtaining Money, False Pretenses At 6:01 p.m. Jan. 23, troopers Yasmilka Guerrero, 19, of 155 Melrose St., Apt. 3, Providence, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses, 2.) Passing of Counterfeit Certificates/Bills/Notes, and 3.) Forgery/ Counterfeiting in General, originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a Barracks Investigation by Trooper Felice and Guerrero turning herself in at the Wickford Barracks. The subject was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth District Court Date.

Driving Without Owner’s Consent At 10:44 p.m. Jan. 23, troopers arrested Gabriela Gamble, 22, of 25 Sampan Ave., Jamestown, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Without Consent of Owner and 2.) Driving With a Suspended License – Special Circumstances, 2nd Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich.

Gamble was transported to Wickford Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court where she will be presented as a probation violator.

Cranston Stop, Missed Court, Larceny Charge On Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at 10:15 a.m., troopers arrested Jamie Figueroa, 34, of 335 Orms St., Providence, Rhode Island, on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for Sentencing on the charge of Attempted Larceny over $1,500 from the Providence Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue, in the City of Cranston. Figueroa was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and then transported to Providence Superior Court.

Cranston Stop, Larceny Warrant At 9:15 p.m. Jan. 23, troopers arrested Glenis Rosario, 39, of 821 Potters Ave., Apt. #1, Providence, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for 1.) Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards, 2.) Conspiracy and 3.) Larceny originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street, in the City of Providence. Rosario was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Rte. 146 Crash, DUI, Hit & Run On Monday, Jan. 23, at 9:45 p.m., troopers arrested Jessica Harris, 39, of 83 Packard St., Cranston, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and /or drugs – B.A.C Unknown, 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test – Second offense, and 3.) Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident – damage resulting.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Rte. 146, in Providence. Harris was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a probation violator.

Disorderly Conduct, Hit & Run On Monday, Jan. 23, at 10 p.m., troopers arrested Arianna Fortier, 22, of 33 Greene St., West Warwick, RI, for 1.) Domestic – Disorderly Conduct and 2.) Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident – damage resulting to an attended vehicle. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation. Fortier was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and released pending a future court date.

No-Contact Violation At 4:59 p.m. Jan. 23, troopers arrested David W. Parente, 56, of 39 Greenbrier Road, West Warwick, for Violation of No Contact Order- 2nd Offense.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and troopers taking Parente into custody at his residence. Parente was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and arraigned before a Justice of the Peace. Parente was then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center and will be presented as a probation violator.

Missed Court, Suspended License On Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 12 a.m., troopers arrested Brian Wilcox, 22, of 43 Montcalm Road, Warwick, on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a Pre-trial Conference on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue, in Providence. Wilcox was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Missed Court, Procurement of Sexual Conduct On Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 2:40 a.m., troopers arrested Lori Braley, 52, of 46 Torrey St., Dorchester, Massachusetts, on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a Pre-trial Conference on the charge of Procurement of Sexual Conduct originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue, in Providence. Braley was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction At 8:26 a.m. Jan. 24, troopers arrested Mark Jennings, 36 of 164 Linwood Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Resisting legal or illegal arrest, 2.) Disorderly conduct, 3.) Obstructing an officer in execution of duty.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. Jennings was processed at the Wickford Barracks and transported to Kent County Courthouse for arraignment.

Warwick Stop, Family Court Warrant At 8:33 a.m. Jan. 24, troopers arrested Christopher Desrosiers, 50, of 863 Stratford Lane, Warwick, RI on a Reciprocal Body Attachment Bench Warrant from Family Court. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Kilvert Street in Warwick.

Desrosiers was processed at the Wickford Barracks and transported to 6th District Court.

EG Stop, Warrant, Expired License At 7:40 p.m. Jan. 24, Troopers arrested Shane Gonsalves, 22, of 993 Manton Ave., Apt. #529 for a Third District Court Bench Warrant on the original charge of Driving with Expired License from the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 4 in East Greenwich. Gonsalves was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and transported to ACI-Men’s Intake.

Warwick Stop, Hit & Run WarrantAt 10:25 p.m. Jan. 24, troopers arrested Briana Cabral, 22, of 25 Caroline Ave., Providence, RI on a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant on the original charge of Duty to Stop in Accident Resulting originating out of the Johnston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Ave. in Warwick. Cabral was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and transported to ACI-Women’s Intake.

NK Stop, DUI At 1:24 a.m. Jan. 24, troopers arrested Nicole Sarault, 47, of 13 Union Drive, Apt. #307, North Kingstown, RI for 1) DUI of Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, 2) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – Second Offense, 3) Driving on a Revoked/ Suspended License – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in the Town of North Kingstown. Sarault was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Providence Stop, Hit & Run On Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at 2:51 p.m., troopers arrested Jimmy Cordero, 39, of 301 Cranston St., Cranston, on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a technical violation hearing on the charge of Duty to stop in an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street, in the City of Providence. Cordero was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Domestic Assault On Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at 10:35 p.m., troopers arrested Nestor Rosario, 50, of 108 Sedan St., Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for 1.) Domestic – Simple Assault, and 2.) Domestic – Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Town of Lincoln Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop at the Bally’s Casino, in the Town of Lincoln. Rosario was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and later turned over to the Lincoln Police Department.

Possession of Stolen Vehicle On Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at 11:55 p.m., troopers arrested Latoya Wilcox, 40, of 608 Huntington Ave., Providence, on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for a Technical Violation on the charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Huntington Avenue, in the City of Providence. Wilcox was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Rte. 95 Cranston, DUI On Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 11:24 p.m., troopers arrested Marcus Rosado, 51, of 292 Pocasset Ave., Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs – BAC Unknown, and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 95 South, in the City of Cranston. Rosado was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and then released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Reckless Driving At 3:55 p.m. Jan. 25, troopers arrested Cory Moulton, 35, of 121 Sunnyside Ave., Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Reckless Driving and 2.) Obstructing a Police Officer in Execution of Duty.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject subsequently responding to the State Police Headquarters. The subject was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Warwick Stop, DUI At 3:05 p.m. Jan. 26, troopers arrested Inocencio Padilla-Padilla, 37, of 55 Alton St., Providence, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – 1st Offense, B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- 2nd Offense.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Padilla-Padilla was processed at the State Police -Wickford, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.

Providence Stop, Domestic Assault At 12:52 a.m. Jan. 27, troopers arrested Kevin Perry, 35, of 48 Baird Ave., North Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest warrant for 1.) Domestic – Simple Assault/Battery and 2.) Domestic – Violation of a No Contact Order (3rd Offense) originating out of the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Silver Spring Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the North Providence Police Department.

Domestic Assault, Providence Stop At 1:30 a.m. Jan. 27, troopers arrested Jayleen Ortega, 24, of 868 River Ave., Apt. #3, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest warrant for 1.) Domestic – Simple Assault and 2.) Domestic – Disorderly Conduct originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the North Kingstown Police Department.

Providence Stop, Burglary Warrant At 3:15 a.m. Jan. 27, troopers arrested Rashard Crum, 30, of 131 Tell St., Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest warrant for Burglary originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Providence. Crum was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Cumberland Rte. 295 Stop, DUI At 3:30 p.m. Jan. 27, troopers arrested Tanaporn Olaska, 21, of 31 Dexter St., Attleboro, MA for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – BAC Unknown 2.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty and 3.) Failure to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle.

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a motor vehicle collision on Route 295 in the Town of Cumberland. The subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with minor injuries and was later released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.

Eluding Traffic Stop At 4:10 a.m. Jan. 27, troopers arrested Alex Doura, 24, of 8 Saran Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island for Eluding – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of an attempted motor vehicle stop, with the operator subsequently turning himself in after fleeing the stop. Doura was transported to Rhode Island State Police Headquarters where he was processed and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Crawford with a future Third Division District Court date.
