RI Trooper Log: DUI, Driving to Endanger

RI Trooper Log arrests. The Rhode Island State Police are stationed in several barracks throughout Rhode Island.

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  April  20– 24 involving Warwick included charges for shoplifting, DUI, and Driving to Endanger, Death Resulting.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Missed court, shoplifting On April 29, 2022 at 2:07 PM, Troopers arrested Roger Gomez Perdomo, 32, of 119 Progress Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review, the original charge of Shoplifting, originating from the North Smithfield Police Department, 2) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review, the original charge of Shoplifting- Second Offense, originating from the Cranston Police Department, and 3) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference, the original charge of Shoplifting, originating from the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.

Erratic driver report, DUI arrest At 1:22 a.m. April 30, Troopers arrested Craig Main, 45, of 219 Coomer Hill Road, Dayville, Connecticut, for 1.) Driving under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of an E911 telephone call to report an erratic operator traveling on Route 37 in the City of Warwick and a subsequent motor vehicle stop. Main was processed at the Wickford Barracks, where he was held overnight pending a morning arraignment.

Jefferson Blvd stop, wanted for domestic assault At 9:50 a.m. April 30, Troopers arrested Harold Felder, 35, of 55 Lindy Ave., Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit & Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. Felder was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Road rage – driving to endanger, death resulting At 2:30 p.m. April 30, Troopers arrested Ryan Van Winkle, 32, of 4 State St., Apt. #3N, Warren, Rhode Island for Driving to Endanger – Resulting in Death. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation that occurred on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Van Winkle was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and turned over to the custody of the Division of Sheriffs.
