RI Trooper Log: DUI, Domestic Assault

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  Aug. 19 – 21 involving Warwick included charges for domestic assault, DUI and a family court warrant.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

DUI At 2:01 p.m. Aug. 19, troopers arrested Laura Bounville, 39, of 29 Jerome Ave., Auburn, MA for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of multiple E911 calls for an erratic operator and Troopers subsequently locating the vehicle on Centerville Road in Warwick.

Bounville was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and then released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Domestic simple assault At 11:11 p.m. Aug. 19, troopers arrested Pierre C. Charles, 54, of 88 Commodore St., Providence for an Affidavit and Arrest warrant for Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Mr. Charles was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then transported to the Providence Police Department.

Family Court warrant At 9:53 a.m. Aug. 20, troopers arrested Korey Monteiro, 35, of 20 Benedict Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 195 in East Providence. Monteiro was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.
