RI Trooper Log: DUI, Disorderly Conduct, Child Pornography Arrests

DUI arrest on Post Road On April 8 at 1:24 a.m., troopers arrested Lucas Mitchell, 22, of 94 Doris Ave. Warwick, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense (Phase I – .132, Phase II – .131).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road in Warwick.

Mitchell was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Disorderly Conduct on Post Road On April 7 at 1:25 a.m., troopers arrested Kyle Golish, 24, of 14 Gateway Court, Warwick, for Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road in the City of Warwick.

Golish was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Court Scofflaw Arrested At 12:18 a.m. April 9, troopers arrested Tracy Petrella, 45, of 202 Easton Ave. Warwick, RI on a Third District Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on a original charge of Driving with Suspended License that originated out of the Cranston Police Department.

Petrella was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.

Traffic Stop nabs Court Scofflaw On Wednesday, April 8 at 11:01 a.m, troopers arrested Julio Escobar, 28, of 518 Summer St., New Bedford, MA for 1.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle/Parts 2.) Fourth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Obstruction and 3.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to Fourth District Court for arraignment.

Warwick Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges On April 9, 2015, members of the Computer Crimes Unit / Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Blake Brynes, age 26, of 1159 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of Child Pornography; and 2) Transfer of Child Pornography.

Brynes was arraigned in Third Division District Court before the Honorable Madeline Quirk and released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail with special conditions to include no contact with children and no access to the Internet.
