WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log between April 19 and April 26  in, nearby and involving Warwick included arrests for DUI, transferring child porn, and missing court.

Court scofflaw stopped, arrested on Rte. 95 At 7:25 p.m. April 23, troopers arrested David J. Correira, 45, of 28 Azalea Road, Narragansett, Rhode Island for a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

Court scofflaw stopped, arrested on Rte. 2 At 12:15 p.m. April 24, troopers arrested Wander Delossantos, 33, of 6 Lucy St., Providence, RI on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License, originating out of the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 2, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to Third District Court.

Troopers stop, arrest driver on Centerville Road for DUI At 1 a.m. April 25, troopers arrested Timothy Orr, 36, of 68 Columbia Heights Oval, Charlestown, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense/ BAC .10 – .15.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. Orr was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.

Troopers catch woman wanted on multiple warrants At 12:53 p.m. April 26 troopers arrested Anabel Nieves, 37, of 17 Chapman St. Apartment #1, Providence, RI., for 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Unlawful Breaking and Entering originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Entering Building with Felonious Intent originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of troopers taking the subject into custody. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods barracks, processed and turned over to Third District Court.

Troopers arrest Warwick man on child porn charges On April 26, 2018, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Joshua M. Lessard, 38, of 1125 West Shore Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Transfer of Child Pornography.

Lessard was arraigned in Third Division District Court before the Honorable Associate Judge McCaffrey, where he was issued $15,000 personal recognizance bail with special bail conditions of limited internet access and no contact with minors.
