WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Sept. 11 involving Warwick included DUI charges and assault.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Jefferson Blvd. Stop, DUI arrest At 12:50 a.m. Sept. 11, troopers arrested Juanmy Reinoso Santos, 45, of 11 Jillson St., Providence, RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liuor and/or Drug – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – Second Offense.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. Reinoso was transported to the Operation Blue Riptide B.A.T. Mobile for processing and later misdemeanor released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 11:21 p.m. Sept. 11, Troopers arrested Oscar Quezada Lopez, 26, of 52 Osborn St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown-First Offense 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test-First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Missed court, assault charge On Sept. 12, 2021 at 12:30 a.m., troopers arrested Edwin Baez, 35, of 42 Pope St., Providence, Rhode Island for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on 03/10/2010 based upon the original charge of Simple Assault-Domestic originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Baez was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Intake Center.
