WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests May 20 – May 23 involving Warwick included DUI arrests on the highway and local roads, as well as missed court hearings and an unregistered sex offender.
Here are the basics on those arrests:
Unregistered sex offender arrest At 2:28 a.m. May 20, troopers arrested Shea Washington, 48, of 140 Galego Court, Apt. 2B, Pawtucket for 1.) Affidavit of Arrest Warrant original charge of Sex Offender Registration Violation originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department, 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Violation on the original charge of Sex Offender Registration originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department and 3.) Superior Court Hold without Bail Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Sex Offender Registration Originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the City of Warwick. Washington was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men’s Intake Facility.
Missed hearing, suspended license At 12:40 p.m. May 20, troopers arrested Amy Latypov, 52, of 99 Allmy St., Warwick, Rhode Island on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.
The arrest was the result of the Adult Correctional Institution Medium Security Center notifying the Wickford Barracks that they had Latypov in custody. Troopers transported Laytpov to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released.
DUI arrest At 10:25 p.m. May 22, troopers arrested Alejandro Rivera, 35, of 212 First Ave., Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs 1st Offense – BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 11:12 p.m. May 23, troopers arrested Valerie Donfrancesco, 62, of 1001 Main Street, Apt. #13, East Greenwich, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs- 1st Offense-Blood Results Pending. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in Warwick.
Donfrancesco was transported to Kent County Hospital, and subsequently transported to State Police Headquarters, where she was processed, and held overnight pending a morning arraignment at Third Division District Court, where she will be presented as a bail violator.
