Warwick, RI — RI State Police made two arrests in and involving Warwick residents this week, including several people wanted for failing to appear in court on charges ranging from shoplifting to domestic assault, as well as one man wanted on several charges including obtaining money under false pretenses and drug possession.

Traffic stop nabs court scofflaw on shoplifting charge On Feb. 2, at 6:31 p.m., troopers arrested Kellie Adams, 44 of 23 Draper St. Pawtucket, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment, on an original charge of Shoplifting from the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 north in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Center.

Traffic stop yields court scofflaw arrest On Feb. 2, at 10:22 p.m., troopers arrested Lauren Keeler, 30, of 593 Smithfield Road, Centerdale, for 1.) Fourth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pre-Trial Conference, on the original charge of Operating Without a License originating out of the Richmond Police Department and 2.) a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing, on the original charge of Operating on a Suspended License originating out of the Smithfield Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and was later arraigned and released after posting the bail.

Traffic stop nabs man wanted for Domestic Assault At 12:33 p.m., Feb. 3 troopers arrested Miguel A. Vazquez,35 of 96 Corinth St., 1st Floor, Providence, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a commercial motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.

Traffic stop ends in arrest of man wanted for drug possession, falsely obtaining money At 12:52 p.m. Feb. 4, troopers arrested Christopher Kidd, 33, of 35 Lake St. Warwick, RI for 1) Driving with a Suspended License 2) Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Sentencing on the original charge of Obtaining Money under False Pretense originating out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks 3) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Sentencing on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V originating out of the West Warwick Police Department 4) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Domestic Disorderly originating out of the West Warwick Police Department 5) Family Court Domestic Felony Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear 6) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in Providence.

Traffic stop collars court scofflaw on larceny charge At 12:50 a.m., Feb. 4, troopers arrested Cashmier Fields, 27, of 4 Osborn St., Apt. #1, Providence, Rhode Island on a 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the initial charge of Larceny from a Person originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department and 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial on the initial charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Providence.
