Warwick, RI – This week’s Rhode Island State Police activity in and nearby Warwick included four arrests for failing to appear on various offenses and a DUI arrest.

Traffic stop collars driver on suspended license warrant On Tuesday, July 2, at 12:30 p.m., troopers arrested Kevin W Osborn, 39, of 45 East St. Apt. 2, West Warwick, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on the original charge of Driving With A Suspended License issued by the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in West Warwick. Osborn was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed then transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.

Stop on Rte. 95 ends in Warwick man’s DUI arrest At 8:40 p.m. Aug. 3, troopers arrested Robert Buckallew, 37, of 1 Willow Glen Drive Apt. #77, Warwick, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 3rd Offense – BAC .08-.10 (Phase 1: .085; Phase 2: .079) and 2) Driving on a Revoked License- Third Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Richmond. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment in Fourth District Court.

Driver arrested on family court warrant on Bald Hill Road At 11:54 p.m. Aug. 3, troopers arrested Tony Nicolas, 40, of 68 Loring St., Woonsocket, for a Family Court Bench Warrant – Reciprocal Body Attachment.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road in Warwick. Nicholas was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute- Men’s Intake Center.

Court scofflaw arrested on Post Road At 11:24 p.m. Aug. 4, Troopers arrested Jobin Kankam, 39, of 36 Prince St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department, 2.) Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Non-Support, 3.) Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Non-Support.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road in Warwick. Kankam was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake.

Court fine scofflaw arrested on Bald Hill Road At 7:17 p.m. Aug.5, troopers arrested Leroy Wilson, 41, of 9 Seth St., East Providence, RI for on Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing out of the Johnston Police Department and a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Contempt on Failing to Pay out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road in Warwick. Wilson was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
