RI Trooper Log: Court Scofflaw, Domestic Assault Charge Arrests

Family Court scofflaw caught on Rte. 37 At 11:35 a.m. July 29, troopers arrested Fernando Mendez, 46, of 85 Star Ave. Woonsocket, on a Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Appear for Non-Support.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 37 in Warwick. Mendez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to Providence Family Court.

Man misses hearing on Domestic Disorderly charge, arrested At 6:45 p.m. July 29, troopers arrested Raymond Bell, 25, of 5507 Post Road, East Greenwich, for a Third District Court Bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Domestic Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the City of West Warwick. Bell was transported to State Police Hope Valley, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Man wanted by NPPD on Domestic Charges caught on Rte. 295 At 1:15 p.m. July 31, troopers arrested Taaj Jackson, 24, of 94 Anthony Ave., Pawtucket, for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of North Providence Police for 1) Domestic Simple Assault, 2) Domestic Refusal to Relinquish a Telephone, 3) Domestic Disorderly, and 4) Driving Without Consent of Owner.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 295 in the City of Warwick. Jackson was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to North Providence Police Department.
