WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests in and near Warwick from Dec. 17 through Dec. 19  included a fugitive on a B&E charge, a conspiracy charge on dealing cocaine, pot and Xanax, cybert-stalking and DUI charges.

Here are the available details of those arrests:

Fugitive found, B&E charge On Dec. 17, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Holly Matos, 36, of 155 Van Buren St., Warwick, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice out of the State of Massachusetts for original charges of Breaking and Entering and Larceny from a Building originating from the Massachusetts State Police Dartmouth Barracks.

Matos was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and later turned over to Sixth District Court for arraignment.

Controlled substance conspiracy: Cocaine, Xanax, Pot On Dec. 18, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested John Ferreira, age 61, of 27 Plantation Street, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance – Marijuana; 3) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule IV Controlled Substance – Xanax; 4) Possession With the Intent to Deliver an Imitation Controlled Substance; 5) Possession of a Pill Pressing Machine; 6) Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance – Anabolic Steroids; and 7) Controlled Substance Conspiracy.

Ferreira was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Third Division District Court.

Missed court, stolen vehicle/parts charge At 12:37 a.m. Dec. 19, troopers arrested Joshua Chivers, 23, of 460 Pine St., Providence, Rhode Island, for: 1.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review of Payment on the charge of Larceny originating from the Coventry Police Department; 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Technical Violation on the charge of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle or Parts originating from the West Warwick Police Department; and 3.) Superior Court Bench Warrant on the charge of Shoplifting originating from the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Chivers was processed at the Wickford Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Rte. 95 stop, cyber-stalking warrant At 12:37 a.m. Dec. 19, troopers arrested Sarah Cleinman, 30, of 2426 Post Road, Apt. #106, Warwick, Rhode Island, for a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the charge of Domestic Violence – Cyber-stalking originating from the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Cleinman was processed at the Wickford Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 1:20 a.m. Dec. 19, troopers arrested Jeffrey Lee, 31, of 142 Hillard Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense / B.A.C .10-.15.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Lee was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Missed court, suspended license charge At 1:39 a.m. Dec. 19, Troopers arrested Fernando Carmona, 35, of 825 Pontiac Ave., Apartment #1420, Cranston, RI for an active Third District Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Driving with a Suspended License originating from the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Admiral Street, in Providence. Carmona was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men’s Intake.
