Warwick, RI – Rhode Island State Police made several Warwick-related arrests this week in addition to the wide-ranging break-up of two illegal internet gambling rings, nabbing court scofflaws as well as leveling DUI and credit theft conspiracy charges.
Driver arrested on NK warrant for missing suspended license hearing At 12:35 p.m. April 14, troopers arrested Jonathan Addison, 25, of 20 Sawyer Street, Providence for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on the original charge of Operating on a Suspended License out of North Kingstown Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Rte. 95 North in Warwick. Addison was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and was later turned over to Kent County District Court.
Court scofflaw stopped arrested on Rte. 95Â At 3:24 p.m. April 14, troopers arrested Brittany Wray, 26, of 168 Ivy St., East Providence, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Operating on a Suspended License out of Cranston Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. Wray was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and was later arraigned by Justice of the Peace Robinson.
Driver stopped, arrested for missing hearing on suspended license charge At 2:01 a.m. April 14, troopers arrested Albert Perez, 22, of 26 East Drive, Apt. 1A, Providence, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on the original charge of Operating on a Suspended License out of the North Providence Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and was later turned over to the ACI Men’s Intake Center.
Traffic stop yields credit theft, conspiracy arrests At 6:26 p.m. April 15, troopers arrested Wayne Graham, 24, of 16006 134th Ave., Jamaica, NY for: 1.) Theft-Obtaining Credit Cards and 2.) Conspiracy. Â Troopers also arrested Stevenson Jean Charles, 26, of 13115 Mathewson CT, Jamaica, NY for: 1.) Theft-Obtaining Credit Cards and 2.) Conspiracy.
The arrests were the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 295 North in Warwick.
Graham and Charles were transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight for morning arraignment.
Narragansett man arrested on DUI charge after crash At 5:38 p.m. April 15, troopers arrested Brian Bieszard, 23, of 5 Margaret St., Narragansett, RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence – BAC Unknown, and 2) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a crash investigation on Rte. 95 in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Scituate Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment in Third District Court.
Driver stopped, arrested for missing suspended license charge hearing  At 1:29 a.m. April 15, troopers arrested Christopher Laurence, age 32, of 144 Cottage St. Warwick for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay for the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Cranston Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Archambault Avenue in West Warwick. Laurence was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Facility.
