RI Trooper Log: Arrests for suspended license warrants

Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI — State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between Dec. 15 and Dec. 21 in and involving Warwick included charges of DUI, B&E, a driver stopped found to possess crack cocaine and heroin, and possession of stolen goods.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Traffic stop ends in arrest on suspended license charge At 7:11 a.m. Dec. 18, troopers arrested Joseph Guindon, 32, of 64 Harbour Ave., Apt. #3, West Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating from the West Warwick Police Department. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to Third Division District Court.

Traffic stop, suspended license warrant arrest At 2:30 p.m. Dec. 18, troopers arrested Julie Monteiro, 32, of 26 Kenney Ave., Warwick RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. 

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the City of West Warwick. Monteiro was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
