Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI —  State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between Sept. 17 and Sept. 21 involved arrests for a false document and false check passing, one of them in RI traffic court.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Man wanted for false documents arrested at traffic court At 12:26 p.m. Sept. 19, troopers arrested Mariah Waldeck, 25, of 2907 West Shore Road, Warwick, RI, for giving false document to a public official.

The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and Troopers subsequently locating Waldeck at the Traffic Tribunal. Waldeck was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Troopers arrest man for fraudulent checks At 4 p.m. Sept. 19, troopers arrested John Xynellis, 44 of 525 Narragansett Parkway, Warwick, RI for two Counts of Fraudulent Checks Under $1,500.

The arrest was the result of a Scituate Barracks investigation. Xynellis was processed, special arraigned by Justice of the Peace Robinson, and released.
