WARWICK, RI —  State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between Dec. 4 and Dec. 7 in and involving Warwick included a missed court hearing on a cocaine possession charge and and warrants for breaking and entering, 

Here are the details of those arrests:

Family Court scofflaw arrested on Jefferson Boulevard At 2:38 p.m. Dec. 4, troopers arrested Sonia Herpin, 36, 40 Heath St., Providence, Rhode Island, on a Providence County Family Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Non-Support Payments.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.

Coventry man arrested on Warwick B&E warrant At 10:30 a.m., Dec. 4, a State Trooper arrestedJon Thompson, 36, of 2 Edith St., Coventry, Rhode Island, on a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Technical Violation on the charge of Breaking and Entering, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Trooper Tyler Denniston locating the subject on East Avenue in Warwick. Thompson was transported to theHope Valley Barracks where he was processed and turned over to ProvidenceCounty Superior Court.

Warwick man wanted for domestic assault in Providence At 3:26 p.m. Dec. 5, troopers arrested Thomas Peterson, 41, of 69 Wild Flower Circle, Warwick, on an Affidavit andArrest Warrant for the charge of Domestic Simple Assault, originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Curson Street in West Warwick. Peterson was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence PoliceDepartment.

Missed hearing on Warwick cocaine charge At 4:08 p.m. Dec. 5 Troopers arrested Eric Mather, 42, of 7 Newfield Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island for a Kent County Superior CourtBench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge ofPossession of Cocaine, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 195 in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.
