RI Trooper Log: 2 Jailed for Cocaine, Fentanyl

WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log  Sept. 8  – 18 involved cocaine possession, fentanyl possession, and reckless driving.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Warwick arrests:

 

RI Trooper Log: Warwick Arrests Sept. 8 – 18

Cocaine Possession On Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11:25 p.m., troopers arrested Christian T. Watkins, 47, of 55 Farnum Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V >10 Grams – First Offense (Cocaine), and 2.) Kent County Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Embezzlement Over $100 originating out of the Warwick Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street, in the City of Providence. Watkins was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a violator.

Trespassing On Sept. 15, 2024, the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested William Miley, age 53, of 1205 Centre Street, West Roxbury, Massachusetts, for one misdemeanor count of trespassing. Miley was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and presented to the On-call Attorney General as a 32f probation violator. He was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions pending a morning re-arraignment.

Fentanyl Possession At 11:15 p.m. Sept. 16, Trooper Aaron Richards, assisted by Trooper Bradley Nuhn, arrested Dave Dionne, 34, of 175 Fairview Ave., Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V less than 10 Grams (Fentanyl), and 2.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V less than 10 Grams (Cocaine). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road, in Warwick. Dionne was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a notice to appear at Third Division District Court.

Reckless Driving, Rte. 95 At 10:25 AM, Troopers arrested Taschen Gramitt, 18, of 220 Whipple Avenue Barrington, Rhode Island, for Reckless Driving. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in the City of Warwick. Gramitt was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later arraigned at Third Division District Court.
