Warwick, RI – The Photographic Society of RI‘s annual food and toy drive has another table at Lakewood Baptist Church full of toys and food for RI Family Shelter in Warwick  thanks to Lincoln Smith,  a member of both.

Lincoln’s been collecting toys and food each year at Christmas at the 255 Atlantic Ave. church for the last 20 years. The club’s annual banquet draws about 100 members, who are encouraged to bring food and toy donations for the drive.

Lincoln, 68, a Warwick resident, has been member of the church his whole life. His dad, also Lincoln, had been the pastor at Lakewood Baptist for 23 years before his retirement in 1988. Regular readers of Warwick Post may also recall Smith’s numerous photographic submissions of scenes in Warwick.
