Providence Grand Jury Indictments Include Hells Angels Shooting Suspects

PROVIDENCE — The Providence Grand Jury indicted several individuals July 3, including three connected to an alleged shooting by the President of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, Joseph M. Lancia, according to State Police and RI Attorney General Peter Neronha.

A Rhode Island State Police investigation June 12, 2019 resulted in Statewide Grand Jury indictments on July 3, 2019 on the following charges:

Joseph M. Lancia, age 28 of 40 Fanning Lane, Smithfield, Rhode Island:

  • Assault with the Intent to Commit Murder
  • Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Firearm)
  • Discharging a Firearm While Committing a Crime of Violence
  • Carrying a Pistol without a Permit

Lance R. Imor, age 54 of 69 Glenn Drive, West Warwick, Rhode Island:

  • Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
  • Compounding and Concealing a Felony
  • Misprision of a Felony

Amber E Gill, age 25 of 8 Amden Street, Providence, Rhode Island:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (Tetrahydrocannabinol)

As a result of the Statewide Grand Jury indictment, all three were arraigned at Providence Superior Court on Wednesday, July 10.

Lancia was released on $100,000 bail with surety and was ordered to have no contact with the victim. Imor was released on $10,000 bail with surety and was ordered to have no contact with the victim. Gill was released on $3,000 personal recognizance and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Lancia and Imor are both full patch members of the Rhode Island Hells Angels Motorcycle Club.

According to the Attorney General’s office, the following indictments were also reported by the Grand Jury July 3:

Claude Holland, 26, Woonsocket, RI (P1/19-3608AG)

On July 3, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Claude Hollins with one count of murder, one count of discharging a firearm while in the commission of a crime of violence, one count of possession of a firearm without a license, and one count of possession of a firearm after a previous conviction of a crime of violence.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Woonsocket sometime on January 13, 2019. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant was arraigned on July 10, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

Adam Sousa, 44, East Providence, RI (P1/19-3609A)

On July 3, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Adam Sousa with three counts of first-degree child molestation, one count of indecent solicitation of a minor, and one count of assault with intent to commit sexual assault.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of East Providence on diverse dates between January 1, 2012 and April 21, 2019. The East Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

Sousa is scheduled to be arraigned on July 24, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

Terrell Walker, 40, No permanent address (P1/19-3610A)

On July 3, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Terrell Walker with one count of first-degree sexual assault.

The alleged act occurred in the city of Providence sometime on May 9, 2018. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on July 24, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

Domingo Ortega, 33, No permanent address (P1/19-3610B)

On July 3, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Domingo Oega with one count of first-degree sexual assault.

The alleged act occurred in the city of Providence sometime on May 9, 2018. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

Ortega is scheduled to be arraigned on July 24, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

Charles Pearson, 60, Cranston, RI (P1/19-3611A)

 On July 3, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Charles Pearson with one count of first-degree sexual assault and three counts of second-degree sexual assault.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Cranston on diverse dates between November 1, 2016 and April 30, 2017. The Cranston Police Department conducted the investigation.

Pearson was arraigned on July 5, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.
