Warwick, RI  — Super Tuesday’s in the books, but there’s still time for Rhode Island voters to register in order to weigh in on the presidential primary April 26 – three weeks, in fact.

The deadline to register to vote in the 2016 Presidential primaries in RI is March 27. In order to register, you must be at least 18 years old by Nov. 4, 2016, a resident of Rhode Island and a U.S. citizen.

Registering for the primary will also set you up for the Nov. 4 election.

With those requirements met, aspiring voters can register at the Board of Canvassers office, located on the first floor of City Hall, 3275 Post Road, Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

On primary day April 26, polling places in Warwick open at 7 a.m., and they’ll stay open until 8 p.m. Any person eligible to vote who is in line to vote at 8 p.m. will be allowed to cast his or her vote before the polls close.
