Primary 2018: Where to Vote in Warwick

A map of polling wards in the city.

WARWICK, RI — On Wednesday, Democratic primary voters will decide among four candidates vying to run against Republican mayoral candidate Susan Stenhouse, which candidate will face Independent Mike Penta for the Ward 4 City Council seat, and will also effectively decide the next City Councillor representing Ward 8.

Four primary candidates hope to face off against Stenhouse: Mayor Joseph Solomon Sr., endorsed by the Democratic Party, Richard Corrente, Gerald Carbone and Vincent M. Ferla.

Primary voters will also chose from Democrats James McElroy, endorsed, or Ernest Flagg to run against Penta. One Democratic candidate will win an unopposed spot on the ballot for Ward 8 City Council: School Committee Chair Beth Furtado, who has the Democratic endorsement, or Anthony Sinapi.

First though, voters will need to get to the polls, which will be open between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. A list of each Warwick polling spot and it’s representative precinct is available on the Warwick Board of Canvasser’s website. A list of polling places by Ward is posted below:
