Warwick, RI – McDermott Pool at 975 Sandy Lane, closed for annual maintenance for the last week, will re-open Friday, Sept. 11 at 5:30 a.m.
The pool was scheduled to re-open on Tuesday, but the city needs more time to complete the work, which required includes power washing, electrical and filter maintenance. Due to the recent continued high humidity, more time is needed to allow the glue on the filter maintenance to dry, according to a release from Mayor Scott Avedisian’s office.
“Pool patrons are thanked for their patience and understanding,” the release states.
A list of pool rules is posted online with the summer schedule.
