Warwick, RI — A couple of great performances at Ocean State Theatre and dozens of local restaurants under one roof highlight this week’s events in Warwick.

Can’t Miss:

The Last Five Years at OST:

Alyssa Gorgone and David Demato take what our reviewer Rich Austin calls ‘a bungee jump’ in The Last Five Years, an examination of a relationship explained through song.

The intimate two-person show begins with the characters seeing the relationship from different times — Cathy from the end and Jamie from the beginning — making for a riveting view of two peoples’ lives together.

Online tickets for upcoming shows — including Thursday at 2 and 7:30 p.m. — are $39/$49/$54. Through March 15.

Saturday, March 7:

‘Freckleface Strawberry’ at OST, 11 a.m.

Based on the best-selling book by actress Julianne Moore, this family musical follows the main character through her journey accepting her freckles — and herself.

Online tickets are $10. Hurry — limited tickets still available.

Wednesday, March 11:

Rotary Gourmet Gala, 6 p.m.

The Radisson Hotel, 2081 Post Road, is the site for Wednesday night’s huge — and we mean huge culinary festival featuring at least two dozen local restaurants, wine and beer tastings, and cooking demos by the one and only Chef Frank Terranova. [Click the link to see the roster.]

Advance tickets are $35 and all proceeds go to the Warwick Rotary.
