Is This the Year of XBox One?

Warwick, RI — Microsoft decided in 2014 that hey, yeah, the XBox One is really just a faster game system — and followed that up with a slash in prices and an improvement in game quality right before the holiday shopping season.

Especially after the October release of a new XBox One software update, the system has been getting higher marks over last year’s roll-out of a thinner stable of titles at a higher cost.

Special for the 2014 holiday season, Assassin’s Creed: Unity anchors a $349 bundle that also includes the Black Flag chapter of the AC franchise and the XBox One [with Blu-Ray and DVD functionality] with one controller. The Kinect remote system is separate in some cases.
