WARWICK, RI — Koch Eye Associates’ Toll Gate Road location was visited by several FBI agents who removed boxes from the building late Wednesday afternoon, the result of what the agency referred to its cooperation with another agency in a court-authorized activity.
By Thursday afternoon, business appeared to have returned to normal, and there was no new information available from the FBI.
“We were there yesterday,” said FBI spokesperson Kristen Setera. But she could not provide any details beyond what had already been reported.
The Providence Journal reported similar FBI activity spotted at Health Vision Centers on State Road in Dartmouth, MA.
According to its website, Koch Eye Associates started in 1981 on Toll Gate Road with three people. Thirty years later Koch Eye Associates was acquired by Candescent Partners of Boston. Two years after that, the practice was joined by Eye Health Vision Centers of Massachusetts under the umbrella of ClarisVision, Inc.
