Warwick, RI — The second Movies in the Park at 1 Rocky Point Ave. returns this summer, and you’ve got a few days left to have a hand in choosing which movies make the cut.
For this week only, according to the Central RI Chamber of Commerce’s Movies in the Park page, residents are invited to vote on their favorite movie in an online poll.
The public may choose their favorite from among the following 12 movies:
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Minions
Hotel Transylvania 2
Cinderella (2015)
Jaws
Field of Dreams
Nightmare Before Christmas
The Good Dinosaur
Inside Out
Lion King
Aladdin
Little Mermaid
Movies in the Park began last summer, organized by the Central RI Chamber of Commerce, presented by National Grid and sponsored by Slocum Realty Inurance and Wave Federal Credit Union.
The family-friendly event provides an opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view of Narragansett Bay before finding your favorite spot on the grassy field, once the mid-way of Rocky Point Amusement Park, for a movie night under the stars.
The movies are provided by Entertainment Under the Stars, and food trucks and local business set up booths around the park for the event.
This year, the movies will be shown on the following dates:

Thursday, July 28
