UPDATE: Warwick Police report both entrances to the Toll Gate School complex will be open for arrivals today. The entrance/exit onto Centerville Road will be restricted after 9 am.
WARWICK, RI — Toll Gate School’s Centerville Road entrance is closed Thursday due to ongoing construction on the road also known as Rte. 117.
“Due to ongoing construction on Centerville Road the entrance to the Toll Gate School Complex will be closed during school hours. All traffic must enter and exit from the Toll Gate Road side entrance. We will have officers in place to ensure traffic is moving as smoothly as possible,” Warwick Police announced Wednesday.
Some of the work on Centerville Road is part of a new gas main being installed by RI Energy ahead of an upcoming RIDOT repaving project scheduled for 2024.
