WARWICK, RI — The Community College of Rhode Island will host two enrollment days this summer to help 2018 Rhode Island high school graduates enroll with free tuition this fall under the Rhode Island Promise scholarship program.
Enrollment Days will offer support with Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion, placement testing, academic advising and course registration.
The events will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, and Thursday, July 26, in Room 1040 at the college’s Knight Campus, 400 East Ave., Warwick. Students whoplan to take the ACCUPLACER placement test should arrive by noon to provide enough time for testing.
Those attending should bring a photo ID, high school transcript and 2016 tax returns – for both the student and parents – and should plan to spend three to four hours at the event. For qualified students, the Rhode Island Promise scholarship covers tuition and fees for students who enroll full time. For more information and frequently asked questions, visit CCRI’s website.
