WARWICK, RI — Mayor Frank Picozzi has closed the Buttonwoods Center Annex, 3027 West Shore Road, until at least the end of the week after four employees tested positive for COVID-19.

Tax payments, and sewer and water bills can be paid online or residents can put them in drop boxes located outside the Annex or City Hall while the building is closed to the public. The Buttonwoods Annex will be fully sanitized during this closure.

Most employees will be working from home and building inspectors will continue doing inspections in the field.

“I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I want to keep both the citizens and our employees safe and healthy,” Picozzi said.
