TAUNTON, MA — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) has promoted Jeffrey Kolarik of Warwick to Executive Vice President/Senior Operations Officer.
In his new job, Kolarik is responsible for the operations of the deposit & loan, electronic banking, call center, BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) security and fraud prevention functions, as well as retail banking at the company.
The company has also promoted John Silva to Executive Vice President/Commercial Lending. Silva will continue to manage and develop the Rhode Island commercial banking market by maintaining, servicing and growing business loan, cash management and deposit relationships.

Kolarik joined Bristol County Savings Bank as Senior Vice President in early 2017. Prior to his tenure at the Bank, he held a number of positions with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island in Providence, including Vice President, Strategic Relationships and Vice President, Client Operations.
Previously, Kolarik served as SVP, Regional Services; SVP, Commercial Shared Services; SVP, Enterprise Payments; and SVP/Core Operations for Citizens Financial Group, Inc. in Providence and Vice President, Bank Operations with Fleet Financial Group, Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island.
