Warwick, RI — Mayor Scott Avedisian’s office is alerting citizens that National Grid will be replacing the gas mains on East Avenue in coordination with the Kent County Water Authority (KCWA) water main replacement project, starting tonight.
The night work will only be for the installation along East Avenue, to avoid creating any extended traffic delays on the busy street (KCWA will also be doing night work on East Avenue). National Grid anticipates the installation along East Avenue to last seven days.
