UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Dias has been lifted, and the Facebook account R.I. Unsolved reports he has been located safe, as of 8:53 a.m. Thursday, July 6.
“We are pleased to share that Carl was located alive and is receiving medical treatment. His family extends their deepest thanks to Warwick PD, Cranston PD and the many community members who shared his flyer and helped get him found,” according to the page.
ORIGINAL POST: WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police are asking for the public’s help finding Carl Dias, 63, who failed to return home after leaving in his 2016 Kia Soul July4.
Carl Dias was last seen driving his grey car on Broad Street in Cranston at about 10 a.m. His car bears RI license plates VL750.
Warwick Police posted photos of Dias and his car to their Facebook page this morning.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Dias please contact the Warwick Police Department at 401-468-4200 or your local law enforcement agency,” police wrote.
