WPD Releases Photos of Possible Witness in Coastway Bank Robbery

Warwick, RI – Warwick Police Detectives have released photos of a man they believe may have useful information about the robbery of Coastway Bank at 3830 Post Road Jun 16.

At 9:48 a.m. that morning, a man wearing a mask, sunglasses and cap demanded money from a Coastway Community Bank teller, fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to a release from the Warwick Police Detective’s Division,  new information has led to the release of photos taken from a nearby establishment of an unknown man who may be a witness or may have been in the area just prior to the robbery.

Warwick Police have asked that anyone with information on the identity of this man contact Warwick detectives at 401-468-4233 or the anonymous TIP line at 401-732-8477 (401-732-TIPS).
