WARWICK, R.I. — Police made 56 arrests between and Nov. 9 and Nov. 16, including one for an accused peeping tom, nine for DUI, six for shoplifting, three for simple assault, one for possession of stolen goods and six warrant arrests, child abuse and for failing to report child abuse, according to the Warwick Police arrest log:
- At 8:59 a.m. Nov.. 10, Warwick Police arrested Colleen M. Mercurio, 55, at Cedar Hill School, 35 Red Chimney Drive, charging her with failing to report child abuse. According to Warwick Police, the charge “stems from her failing to report an incident to DCYF in November 2016 that fell within her mandatory reporting obligation / requirement.”
- At 8 p.m. Nov. 10, Warwick Police arrested Joseph Steven Lafazia, 37, at Nylo Hotel, 400 Knight St., charging him with larceny. Police posted a video to Facebook seeking aid in apprehending the man that showed him stealing an unattended purse at NYLO hotel earlier in the month.
- At 10:39 a.m. Nov.14, Warwick Police arrested Robert Mallett, 60, on Eaton Ave., charging him with child abuse, second degree.
- At 6:20 p.m. Nov. 14, Warwick Police arrested Christopher Wilcox, 25, at Taylor Court Apartments, 2060 Warwick Ave., charging hi with three counts of being a peeping Tom.
