WARWICK, RI — Warwick police log arrests June 1 – 30 included charges for sexual assault DUI, Felony assault, simple assault, shoplifting, domestic violence, larceny and illegal drug possession.

Warwick Police made 189 arrests in June 2023.

Below are the  basic details of specific  arrests, followed by the numbers of arrests for each charge. A full account of individuals arrested and dates of arrest for charges are available in the Warwick Police arrest log.

Sexual assault: June 1

At 11:31 a.m. June 1, Warwick Police arrested Brian D. Gray, 47, of 6 Hubbard St., Cranston, RI, charging him with First Degree Sexual Assault and Second Degree Sexual Assault.

Gray was arraigned in Third District Court that day and held without bail before a status conference June 8. He appeared for a bail hearing June 19, then a second status conference June 29. He was released on $20,000 surety bail, issued a no-contact order and ordered confined to his home.

Sexual assault: June 15

At 2:29 p.m. June 15, Warwick Police arrested Everett D. Mello, Jr., 52, of 139 Mount St. Charles Ave., Woonsocket, RI charging him with Second Degree Sexual Assault.

He was arraigned June 16 in Third District Court and released on $2,500 surety bail, and issued a no-contact order.
