WARWICK, R.I.  — Police made 45 arrests between and Dec. 7 and Dec. 14, including four for DUI, nine for shoplifting two for simple assault, one for felony assault, one for ebmezzlement and one for obtaining money under false pretenses, according to the Warwick Police arrest log:
- On Dec. 8, Warwick Police arrested Dean M. Sherman, Jr., 32, at the Speedway Convenience Store, 112 Post Road, charging him with embezzlement.
- On Dec. 9, Warwick Police arrested Charles M. Hoffman, 38, at Ottawa Avenue, charging him with domestic assault by choking, simple assault and battery, domestic disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and violation of a no-contact order.
- On Dec. 12, Warwick Police arrested Michael J. Decosta Jr., 21, at 1565 Post Road, charging him with felony assault with a dangerous weapon.
- On Dec. 13, Warwick Police arrested Mitchell C. Wagner, 62, at Homewood Suites, 33 International Way, charging him with domestic assault on a person aged 60 or over.
