WPD Log May 1 – 15: Arrests for DUI, Domestic Assault, Embezzlement

WARWICK — Warwick Police made 117 arrests between May 1 and May 15, on charges including 13 for domestic assault, one felony domestic assault, four for narcotics possession, one for embezzlement, 31 for outstanding warrants, and 12 for DUI.

Of the arrests made during this period, Warwick Police recorded 69 of them on their website. Below are the details of a few of those arrests, followed by the balance of the reported arrests:

  • At 8:45 a.m. May 2, Warwick Police arrested Bethany Penardo, 24, of 64 East St., West Warwick, at Haxton’s Liquors, 1123 Bald Hill Road, charging her with embezzlement/fraudulent conversion.
  • At 11:42 p.m. May 2, Warwick Police arrested Paula Mowbray, 56, of Princeton Avenue, charging her with domestic felony assault, domestic assault, and disorderly conduct.
  • At 12:32 p.m. May 3, Warwick Police arrested Taylor D. Hall, 28, at Wonderland Smoke Shop, 666 East Ave., charging him with larceny of $1,500 or more.
  • At 2:15 a.m. May 12, Warwick Police arrested David Hamdy, 26, of 79 Palace Ave., charging him with narcotics possession.
