WPD Log July 15 – 21: Arrests for Cocaine, Assault, Stolen Car

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police officers made 57 arrests between July 1 and July 14, on a variety of charges ranging from assault and DUI to shoplifting and vandalism.

Warwick Police reported 46 of those arrests on their website, made on charges including 10 for DUI, four for shoplifting, nine warrant arrests, three for simple assault, four for domestic simple assault, one for assault of a person older than 60, and one for possession of cocaine.

Below are the details of those arrests.

  • On July 17 at 8:43 a.m., Warwick Police arrested Jacob Mitchell, 19, of 292 Chapman Ave., at Work Out World, 3030 West Shore Road, charging him with possession of cocaine.
  • On July 18 at 8:19 p.m., Warwick Police arrested Elia Rodriguez, 34, of 105 Wadsworth St., Providence, at Walmart, 840 Post Road, charging her with possession of a stolen vehicle.
  • On July 19 at 3:30 p.m., Warwick Police arrested Dennis Shipley, 65, of 52 Logan St., Warwick, charging him with assault of a person age 60 or older.
  • On July 19 at 4:20 p.m., Warwick Police arrested Daneisha E. Hazard, 46, of 3 Royal Ave., Warwick, at 37 Hawley Ave., charging her with breaking and entering, two counts of simple assault, two counts of vandalism.
