WPD Explorers Host First Holiday Toy Drive

Warwick, RI — Warwick Police Explorers Post 327 recently hosted its first annual holiday toy drive to help local families in need.

Half of the gifts collected were given to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick for distribution to parents needing a helping hand.  Officer Al Melucci, director of the Explorers program at the Warwick Police Department and organizer of the drive, recently presented the toys to Lara D’Antuono, executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs, along with officers Matt Moretti and Officer Dan Maggiacomo.
