WARWICK, RI — On Aug. 19 at 12:50 p.m., Officer Brian Holleran took a report from a Harvard Avenue man who said a catalytic converter had been stolen from his car parked at New England Tech at 110 Access Road for the morning.

The man parked at the school at about 7:15  a.m., and returned after his classes at 10:57 a.m., and started his car, a maroon 2008 Saturn Outlook sedan. The car engine was very loud, and the man realized the catalytic converter had been removed from the vehicle, according to the report.

The man contacted New England Tech’s administration, which advised filing a report with the Warwick Police. The report was forwarded to WPD detectives.
