WARWICK, RI — A Providence woman faces two counts of felony shoplifting after Warwick Police filed charges against her twice within 30 minutes on Oct. 29.

Local officers first arrested Jessica Gianfrancesco, 31, of 184 Babcock St., just after 3 p.m. that day for a theft from the CVS store at 2400 Warwick Ave. reported Sept. 16.

At about 3:30 p.m., police also charged Gianfrancesco for stealing from the Kohl’s department store at 650 Bald Hill Road, also reported Sept. 16.

The new cases carry one misdemeanor charge each of habitual shoplifting in addition to felony shoplifting charges.

Gianfrancesco has multiple past arrests, according to online court records, including two cases brought by Warwick Police dating back to June and one case brought by North Providence Police in July.

She is scheduled for arraignment on the prior Warwick charges on Nov. 8. Information on the Oct. 29 arrests had not been added to the state court website when this article was first published.
