Warwick, RI — With Warwick students out of school for the Christmas break until Jan. 6 — and the potential for another, ugh winter break playing XBox — check out these options for what they can do.

Indoor Skating at Thayer Arena: Hang on — does that, yes, that says $3 per person for two hours of ice skating at Thayer Arena. Plus, there’s a special holiday schedule including public skate times on Dec. 28 and 29 [1 to 3 p.m. each day]. For info, call: (401) 738-2000, ext. 6811.

Crafts and Programs at Warwick Public Library: Beginning Dec. 26, the nice folks in the Children’s Department [upstairs, there’s also an elevator] are hosting a hybrid craft-scavenger hunt where kids find the elements of a snowman picture.

On Saturday, Dec. 27, Miss Meryn Flynn leads drama club for ages 6 to 18 at 10:30 while the Teenspace hosts Teen Knitting Class at the same time. Use the link to register online. Space is limited.

Trampoline Jumping at Launch: You’ve heard of Launch — haven’t you? Let the kids bounce off of everything in sight [or play dodge ball, but watch for the little ones, guys] for $14 an hour at the Launch indoor trampoline park behind Best Buy.

What’s your go-to vacation activity? Dish in the comments.
