WARWICK, RI — Warwick Firefighters were called to Woodbury Union Church, 58 Beach Ave. at about 7:30 p.m. Thanksgiving Eve for a report of fire,
Warwick Police also responded and shut down West Shore Road at Beach Avenue and Maplewood Avenue to aid the Fire Department, alerting the public via their Twitter account.
The fire went to a second alarm at 8:20 p.m., RIBNS reported. The service also noted the fire had caused partial structural damage on the “bravo”, or left, side of the building.
