Pair tracked using stolen credit cards

A man and woman were recorded on a surveillance camera using stolen credit cards at Target, 400 Bald Hill Road, on May 4, according to Warwick Police.

The credit cards had been reported stolen from the Whole Foods in Cranston earlier in the day, and local officers say the duo used the cards to buy prepaid phone cards and other items.

Fraud/larceny at Walmart

Warwick Police are looking for a man caught on surveillance cameras at the Post Road Walmart on May 1, after apparently making a false transaction at one of the registers.

A still photo posted on the Rhode Island Most Wanted website shows the man wearing a dark baseball cap with a red bill, gray Under Armor sweatshirt, and dark pants on his way out of the Walmart, where police say he switched the tag on a Bostich air compressor, priced at $268, with a lower-priced item so the compressor rang up as costing $15.

The man fled the scene in a white pickup truck, according to Warwick Police.
