WARWICK, RI — This Warwick Weekend boasts a three-day library book sale, Pilgrim football streaming, food trucks and art, and a fair chance of rain Saturday and Sunday.

The weather forecast for this Warwick Weekend includes an unfortunate 50-60% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday. Keep your eyes on the skies and pack an umbrella.

Otherwise, it’s expected to be in the mid to high 60s temperature wise.

Warwick Weekend Thursday:

Tonight the Pilgrim Boys Varsity Football Game will be streamed live from West Warwick on YouTube. If you cannot get to the game in person you now can watch from home. Streaming starts at 7:15 p.m.

Warwick Weekend Friday:

Friends of Library Book Sale Preview Cash in on your Friends of the Library membership for the free preview of the Friends of the Library Book Sale this afternoon from 5 to 8 p.m. You can join the FOL at the door for $10.

Find amazing deals on over 6,000 hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, and DVDs through Sept. 24. The Book Sale runs on Saturday,  9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, 1 – 4 p.m. The Friends of the Library Book Sale helps fund programs for children, teens, and adults, including concerts, museum passes, and the Summer Reading Challenge.

This event is open to all.

WCFA: RI Art Educators Exhibit This exhibit allows us all to recognize and celebrate Rhode Island Art Educators’ own works of art. The gallery is also open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Wednesday through Saturday. There is no charge for admission.

Goddard Park Farmer’s Market Every Friday through Columbus Day Weekend, RI Grown, DEM’s farmer’s market program, hosts farmer’s market at Goddard Park selling delicious and freshly-harvested local foods direct from the farm to your dinner table.

 Roger Williams Food Truck Fridays The Carousel campus at Roger Wiliams Park Zoo has a lot of open space and rolling hills shaded by trees, the perfect spot to grab dinner from a food truck and listen to music and entertainment during the park’s Food Truck Fridays event. If you miss this one, don’t worry. They’re going on every Friday till the fall.

Bring your own Improv This interactive improv show at the Warwick Center for the Arts welcomes voluntary audience participation! You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved with us on stage.
