WARWICK, RI — This Warwick Weekend falls on Easter Sunday, with Easter Bunny photos at Warwick Mall, four area Easter Egg Hunts, and a balmy, dry-sky forecast from the National Weather Service.

So get your eyes acclimated for the pending parade of pastels, keep your dentist’s contact information handy for all the candy about to be consumed, and let’s review what’s going on during this Easter-themed edition Warwick Weekend!

Without further ado, here’s what we know about what’s happening this weekend:

Warwick Weekend April 6: Comedy at Renegades, Mall Bunny Photos

Warwick Mall Easter Bunny Photo Op: It’s not quite the tradition of getting pictures taken with Santa Claus, but if you’re looking for a nice way to mark the spring season this year, Warwick Mall is hosting the Easter Bunny through April 8. Melino Photo of Warwick is providing the portrait service once again. The Easter Bunny is set up right in the middle of the Mall, outside Jordan’s Furniture under the big clock. Prices start at $27 for an 8X10 photo. Full price list at event link.

Renegades Comedy Johnny Rotten and fellow New England comics will perform at Renegades tonight, 7 p.m. Cost is $15.

West Warwick Easter Egg Hunt: The Town of West Warwick hosts its Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. You’ll find the event at the rear of Maisie Quinn School on Brown Street. There will be free face painting and Easter Egg Hunts for all children. Bring your own Easter basket or bag for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Faith Hill Farm EG Easter Egg Hunt: You’re invited to our world famous Easter Egg Hunt on April 8. Preregistration is required, and cost is $10. Hunt for eggs in the rolling fields of the farm and enjoy food, vendors, and meet the Easter Bunny.

“Pre-register via google form for one of our two available hunts (Hunt 1: 11AM Hunt 2: 1PM) and ensure a day full of fun as spring touches down at our property.”
Elks/Parks & Rec Easter Egg Hunt: The Tri-City Elks and Warwick Parks and Recreation Department have teamed up for their second annual Easter Egg Hunt.at the Warwick City Park, near the softball field, starting at 11 a.m. with registration. The hunts starts at 12:30 p.m., and photos with the Easter Bunny will be part of the fun, as will give-away prizes. Bring your own baskets.
Conimicut Easter Egg Hunt: The Conimicut Village Association is putting on the Conimicut Easter Egg Hunt, which promises to be a great activity for families and kids of all ages. Show 11 a.m. sharp at  CONIMICUT POINT PLAYGROUND CONIMICUT POINT PARK (end of Point Ave) Easter
Bunny will make an appearance. Bring your own baskets.
Trout Season Opening Day: If eggs and giant rabbits aren’t your thing, there’s a lot of fish in local freshwater spots waiting for you thanks to the DEM, which observes Trout Season Opening Day today, with 60,000 trout stocked in RI ponds and lakes.
