Warwick Weekend weather will see temperatures in the 40s and a pretty good chance of  rain Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Here are some events and happenings you can enjoy along the way.

Warwick North Registration Deadline Little leaguers, don’t forget to register for the 2024 season at at WarwickNorth.com. Registrations close on March 3, Sunday, so don’t get Shut Out.

Warwick Weekend Thursday:

Dine Out for Holliman 5th Grade Tonight starting at 5 p.m. and going till 9 p.m., Revolution American Bistro in Cranston hosts a Dining Fundraiser for Holliman School’s 5th grade class for dine-in and take out orders. Present the flyer at the bottom of this story to donate 20% of the cost of your order to the 5th Grade Class.

WCFA Members Show exhibit WCFA is proud to feature recent artworks from our artist members in this annual exhibit. Please join us to celebrate this collection of artwork by 38 creators. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Wednesday through Saturday. There is no charge for admission.  

Warwick Weekend Friday:

Proclamation Free Movie: Strange Brew:  May the Force be with You, Hoser, as Proclamation Brewing, 298 Kilvert St, Warwick, RI shows a free movie in the taproom (with sound!) on the first Friday of every month at 8 p.m.  Our March movie will be Strange Brew, showcasing the adventures of Bob and Doug Mckensie, to celebrate the start of RI Craft Beer Week. Food will be available from Saugy’s and Burrito Bowl. Outside chairs are permitted.

Norwood branch Library Building Club: Join other kids to create with Legos and Manga-tiles every Friday afternoon at the Norwood Branch.

Thayer Arena Public Skate: Through March, Friday and Sunday, Public Skate is open to skaters of all ages. Cost to Skate is $5 – Children 5 and under are free. Skate Rentals are available at Sandy Lane Sports across the street from the rink.

  • Fridays 3:15-5:15 p.m.
  • Sundays 12:50 – 2:30 p.m.

No Skate Dates: Fridays: 2/9 & 3/22 Sundays: 3/10

Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian who is 18 years or older. Children ages 13-17 without an adult staying onsite must be paid for and signed in by an adult that can leave emergency contact information. Only persons wearing skates are permitted on the ice surface. Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.
