WARWICK, RI  — Making plans for the weekend? We’ve gathered our Warwick Weekend picks for a weekend of fall fun and it includes everything from a food truck festival to a Halloween movie, a reptile show and everything in between.

Warwick Weekend: Friday, Oct. 15

Adult Swim at McDermott Pool

Enjoy adult swim at McDermott Pool today from 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9:20 p.m. McDermott Pool, 975 Sandy Lane, Warwick. 

Goddard Park Farmers’ Market

Stop by the Goddard Park Farmers’ Market today and grab some fresh produce, breads, meats, flowers and more from local spots. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Goddard State Park, 1095 Ives Road, Warwick.

Pick Your Own Apples

Go apple picking today at Pippin Apple Orchard in nearby Cranston. Apple picking season is here at Pippin. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Pippin Apple Orchard, 751 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston.

Fall Family Fun at Spring Hill Sugarhouse

Grab the family and pick your own pumpkin, enjoy some apple cider or take on the corn maze at Spring Hill Sugarhouse in nearby Richmond. Noon to 5 p.m., 522 Gardner Road, Richmond.

Open Swim at McDermott Pool

Enjoy open swim at McDermott Pool today from 3:30-4:15 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. McDermott Pool, 975 Sandy Lane, Warwick.

Warwick Food Truck Night

Don’t cook dinner tonight, head over to Warwick Food Truck Night where you can enjoy food from some of the best food trucks in Rhode Island, along with live music and drinks from Trinity Brewhouse. Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick (Airport), 801 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. 

“Hocus Pocus” at the Complex

Join the Central RI Chamber & the Warwick Police Department for movie night featuring “Hocus Pocus” at the Bend Street Sports Complex. All the fun starts at 5:30 p.m. The movie starts at 6:30 p.m. Bring a chair and a blanket and enjoy local food truck fare. Costumes welcome, plus there will be activities and more. Rain date is Oct. 22.

Roger Williams Park Zoo Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the Roger Williams Park Zoo is back this year through Oct. 31. This year’s event is sponsored by Citizens and takes you through the greatest music of the last 150 years while enjoying the thousands of intricately carved pumpkins on display. All tickets must be purchased online. The trail is open 6-10:30 p.m. (the last entry is 10 p.m.) Roger Williams Park Zoo, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence. 

Bring Your Own Improv (BYOI) 

Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door only. General admission tickets are $15, $10 for WCFA members, seniors, students, military and first responders, hospital employees and minimum wage workers Tickets are available at the door only.
