WARWICK, RI — The first Warwick Weekend of fall is here and it’s chock-full of great events, so grab a friend or your family and check out all the amazing things happening in and around Warwick this weekend.

From the Gaspee Days Arts & Crafts Festival to the Rhode Island Seafood Festival and everything in between, we’ve gathered our picks just for you! 

Friday, Sept.10

Goddard Park Farmers’ Market

Stop by the Goddard Park Farmers’ Market today and grab some fresh produce, breads, meats, flowers and more from local spots. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Goddard State Park, 1095 Ives Road, Warwick.

Rhode Island Art Educators’ Showcase

The Warwick Center for the Arts Rhode Island Art Educators’ Showcase celebrates art teachers who have the gift of merging the intricacies of mathematics, the lyricism of language and the lessons of history to create a new form of visual communication. This exhibit runs through Oct. 9 and is free and open to the public. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Warwick Center for the Arts, 3259 Post Road, Warwick. 

Food Truck Friday at Roger Williams Park

Enjoy Food Truck Friday featuring more than a dozen locally-owned food trucks, along with local beer from Trinity Brewhouse, along with live music. 5-8 p.m. Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence.

Gaspee Days Arts & Crafts Festival

The 2021 Gaspee Days Arts & Crafts Festival is a free, fun, family-friendly event showcasing more than 100 artisans, community groups and nonprofits. Enjoy one-of-a-kind arts, as well as craft fair food. Plus enjoy live music from local bands, as well as amusements for the little ones. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Narragansett Parkway, Warwick. 

Pick Your Own Apples

Go apple picking today at Pippin Apple Orchard in nearby Cranston. Apple picking season starts Saturday at Pippin. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Pippin Apple Orchard, 751 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston.

JAYCEES Clean-ups & Green-Ups

Join the JAYCEES at their award-winning arboretum every Saturday to help clean up. From pinching flowers, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, restoring plant beds, painting fencing in more, come lend a hand while enjoying the beauty of the area. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Riverpoint COMMUNITY Park, 110 Hay St.

Rhode Island Seafood Festival

Seafood lovers, you don’t want to miss the Rhode Island Seafood Festival this weekend showcasing the area’s best seafood, live music and local beverages. Tickets are $10 per day or $15 for a two-day pass. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., India Point Park, 263 India St., Providence. The festival is held at the base of the south side of the I-195 walking bridge.
